# LuckBlocks - Decentralized Raffles

When you buy a ticket for the daily lottery, you automatically get another entry into the weekly lottery for free. If the minimum number of participants or pot value is not reached within the day or week cycle, the prize accumulates and tickets are carried over for the next cycle.

Every draw runs on-chain by the **NFTnodes (Cranni Societas)** - a community of peers and nodes. To participate, owners need to stake their **NFTs** in our smart contract and configure automation in their preferred way. Executors of the lottery draw will be paid 2% of every ticket sold for the daily lotteries with **NFTnodes Common**, and 9.50% of the weekly lotteries jackpot with [**NFTnodes&#x20;**<mark style="color:yellow;">**Golden**</mark>](#user-content-fn-1)[^1].

The beauty of **Luckblocks** is that it is self-sustainable and does not require centralized support. By using smart contracts, **Luckblocks** can run indefinitely without any developer maintenance. ## How it works

At **Luckblocks**, buying a ticket not only gives you a chance to win big on the daily lottery but also increases your chances of winning by signin you to the weekly lottery. Here's how it works:

Each ticket you buy distributes the funds in the following way:

* 47.5% goes to the daily lottery
* 47.5% goes to the weekly lottery

* 60% goes towards the next draw prize jackpot
* 20% goes to the weekly lottery prize jackpot.

Before the draw time tickets can be cancelled/refunded to get back **75%** of ticket value.

**NFTnodes**, also known as **Cranni Societas**, is a community of peers/nodes that plays a crucial role in the operation of **Luckblocks**. As the holders of the NFT Collection, they are responsible for running each and every draw on-chain. In order to provide this service, **Cranni Societas** holders must stake their NFTs in our smart contract and configure automation in their preferred way, such as VPS servers or **Gelato**, to be part of the payment queue.

By participating in this service, the executor node for that draw will receive a **2%** reward of jackpot if drawing the daily lotteries with **NFTnodes Common**, and a 9.50% reward of the weekly lottery jackpot if drawing the weekly lotteries with **NFTnodes** <mark style="color:yellow;">**Golden**</mark>, additionally NFTnode <mark style="color:yellow;">**Golden**</mark> will receive 2% of every <mark style="color:green;">**Bull**</mark> Vs <mark style="color:red;">**Bear**</mark> Round it executes.
